My memory of Marjorie is of being enveloped in a beautiful and loving light. Her presence was powerful and invited connection even if you hadn’t seen her for some time. Her interests were so broad that it was easy to find something you shared with her and animated conversations often took place. Music was where we connected primarily and I remember being so delighted that she had sponsored a concert by Peter Appleyard during a long ago Jazz Festival. Many memories of chance meetings and enthusiastic greetings will always be special to me. She was a beautiful, remarkable and generous woman whom I am so happy to have known.
