I was so saddened to hear of Marjorie’s passing.  I told my husband, she was such a wonderful, caring , compassionate, and generous lady, that I felt an era had passed on in my life.  I have never known a woman such as she. She was always ready for a party with friends, a hug, a happy and boisterous welcome, and a sit down with tea and sweets.  She and I loved to sit on the front deck of her cottage at Seabright and watch the ocean or stroll the beach, or take a hike over to visit the Mussets.  Never pretentious, always natural to the core,  I will miss being with her and sharing in her fun and jest for life. I will miss hearing her say the words, I imagine so many of us will  remember her uttering, “My John.”  There will never be another like her.  May she rest in peace.
