All I can say is that I feel very blessed to have had this amazing lady in my life. As a member of Beta Sigma Phi, I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Lindsay as our City Council Social Sponsor for the past decade or so. Her warmth, kindness and loving smile will always be treasured in my heart. The way she held my hands while we cried together at my mother’s funeral eight years ago and the many times in between when we shared laughter and tears over her John and my Joy. Only last week I came across a picture of her, my mother and myself in Marjorie’s dining room, on Pryor St, celebrating our Yellow Rose Woman of the Year Tea. She was such a gracious host, a kind soul, a beautiful friend. Heaven has welcomed a new angel and I am sure her John was there to greet her with open arms.
