From the moment Debbie and I moved to Halifax to serve First Baptist Church we were drawn into the embrace of Marjorie’s friendship and support. Her genuine interest in others, especially the vulnerable, undergirded by her faith, was shown so very often in small and large ways, but never for personal praise. Marjorie’s love for her beloved John, her children John and Deborah, and her extended family was always on her lips and in her heart, making her a role model and inspiration for many. Debbie joins me in sending our love and sympathy to you all. May God’s comfort and peace surround you always.
