I had the wonderful good fortune to meet Marjorie in our journey together in the development of the new John W. Lindsay YMCA. We would get together for lunch at a cafe or tea in her home and after we would chat project updates we would talk BOOKS! Marjorie’s love of reading and her ability to retain the name of the books and the authors was fabulous! I would always leave a visit with Marjorie with a list of new reading opportunities. There are a couple of authors that she shared with me that have really changed my life – and every time I return to those authors, I think fondly and thankfully that I had the opportunity to know Marjorie Lindsay. My heart felt condolences to her family at this time.
