When I (Jackie Eisner), met Marjorie Lindsay at First Baptist Church, Halifax, I knew we would become friends. Being my senior and a neighbour, “Marj” became a respected mentor in my personal, professional and parental life. We had many “cups of tea” together over the decades. We discussed the challenges and joys in our lives. (Carolyn’s exercise class was a good example of both !?) It has been an honour for my husband and me to have known Marjorie, John and their family.
